New Seven Wonders (Modern Wonders):

In 2007, New 7 Wonders Foundation organized a global poll to determine the "New Seven
Wonders of the World" from a selection of 200 existing monuments worldwide.

1.Great Wall of China (China)



Location: China

Description: The Great Wall is an ancient series of walls and fortifications built by various Chinese dynasties over centuries. Its purpose was to protect Chinese states from invasions by nomadic tribes, especially the Mongols. The wall stretches over 13,000 miles (21,000 km) and is considered one of the greatest architectural feats in history.

Significance: Not just a military structure, it’s also an iconic symbol of Chinese endurance and ingenuity.

2. Petra (Jordan)


Location: Jordan, in the southwestern part of the country.

History: Petra was the capital of the Nabataean Kingdom around 300 BCE. The city is famous for its rock-cut architecture and water management system. The Nabataeans carved buildings, temples, and tombs into the sandstone cliffs, making Petra a stunning archaeological site.

3. Christ the Redeemer (Brazil)

Significance: The Taj Mahal is not only a symbol of eternal love but also an architectural and artistic achievement, attracting millions of visitors every year.
